With spooky In Hill House Netflix managed almost the perfect horror series. After the great success, many genre fans demanded as fast as possible replenishment. The two makers Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy have therefore already planned more projects. In an interview, Macy talks about what fans of spooky In Hill House expect in the future: this is the new series of creators. The Netflix shocker spook In Hill House is considered by many to be one of the best series of 2018. It provided audiences an almost cinematic Spectacle with many scary moments. The plot moves somewhere between ghostly ghost and emotional family history. The two creators are still working on their next project: Doctor Sleeps Awakening. It is the much-anticipated sequel to Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece The Shining. Afterwards, the two of them want to rack their brains over sequels to Spook at Hill House.
The two horror specialists have already been signed by Netflix. After all, you want to make sure that the duo continues to produce exclusive scary titles in the future. Of course fans are waiting for a second season of spooky In Hill House. So far, however, the details remain secret for the time being, as Trevor Macy reports: "I can not say much about it yet, but whoever liked the first season will love the second as well."
This should then bear the title The Haunting Of Bly Manor. We dive into a completely different story with new characters. In part, the characters are also played by haunting In Hill House lead actors. The creators follow a similar principle as the creators of American Horror Story. The second season is based on the horror novel The Turn Of The Screw from 1898. It focuses on a governess who oversees two orphaned children on the eponymous property. But it haunts the old house. It quickly turns out that the two children can see the bodiless souls. It is very likely that the season will be released in 2020. Maybe the new episodes will be back in autumn, like Season 1.
After The Haunting Of Bly Manor is already another sequel fixed. In Midnight Mass we follow a community that lives isolated and completely isolated from the outside world on an island. Her everyday life is completely messed up when a charming priest appears and piles up horrible events and mysterious omens. Whether we see Midnight Mass in 2020 is unlikely. Trevor Macy says, "I suspect we're done with production by the end of 2020. Then Netflix will have to decide when to show it."
