THE WHO present another song from their first new studio album for 13 years with 'I Do not Wanna Get Wise'.
The new THE WHO longplayer wears the simple title "Who" and will be on the record shelves starting on December 6th. The release of the first new album of the British rock legend for 13 years has been postponed from the previously announced November 22nd release date to December 6th. With 'I Do not Wanna Get Wise' you can listen to another brand new song from the album below after 'Ball And Chain' below. "I think we recorded our best album since" Quadrophenia "in 1973," comments THE WHO singer Roger Daltrey says, "Pete has not forgotten anything – he's still a terrific songwriter and still has that cutting edge." Guitarist Pete Townshend adds, "This album consists almost entirely of new songs we recorded last year, with two exceptions. There is no theme, no concept, no story, just a collection of songs that I (and my brother Simon) have written to give Roger Daltrey inspiration, challenges, and a setting for his revitalized vocal voice. Roger and I are both old men now, so I tried to stay away from romance, but also from nostalgia. I did not want anyone to feel uncomfortable. Memories are okay, and some of the songs refer to today's explosive state of affairs. "The" Who "Tracklist: 1. All This Music Must Fade 2. Ball And Chain 3. I Do not Want To Get Wise 4.
