Cecilia Kass (Elisabeth Moss) feels trapped in the violent relationship with a wealthy and ingenious scientist. To hide from her controlling partner, she escapes in the middle of the night, with the help of her sister (Harriet Dyer, The InBetween), her childhood friend (Aldis Hodge, Straight Outta Compton) and his teenage daughter (Storm Reid, Euphoria).
When her palpable ex (Oliver Jackson-Cohen, The Haunting of Hill House) commits suicide and leaves her a significant portion of his great fortune, Cecilia fears he has staged his death. In fact, then begins a series of eerie coincidences with fatal outcome, whose goal is their most beloved people. Jason Blum, master of the contemporary horror genre, produced THE INVISIBLE for his now legendary production company Blumhouse Productions. As scriptwriter, director and executive producer, Leigh Whannell is responsible for the original team of creators of the Saw franchise. His other directorial work includes the films Upgrade and Insidious: Chapter 3.
