The fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is getting closer and closer. Meanwhile, the complete line-up is already fixed. For all who want to keep track, we have here a complete overview for you. This will give you the most important information about the upcoming films and series by Marvel. Marvel has already completed three successful phases. Kevin Feige has many more plans for his superhero troupe in the future. Black Widow starts with Scarlett Johansson in the lead role. The blockbuster recently got its first trailer and tells the story of the tough ex-agent. The storyline follows The First Avenger: Civil War and sets Black Widow the taskmaster as the villain. The Falcon And The Winter Soldier will also join the action in Civil War. Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan return to their familiar roles. Also the German actor Daniel Brühl returns as a bad Baron Zemo.
As a brand new group of heroes we may then welcome the Eternals. The Cast opens with Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden and many more. The Eternals is an offshoot of the people created more than five million years ago by the alien Celestials. Star Lord's father Ego, whom we have already met, was one of them. They play a godlike role in the Marvel Universe and should provide a lot of action.
For the first time in Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings, we will see an Asian superhero in the lead role. Among others play in it Simu Liu and Awkwafina, who must prevail against the ten rings. This is the terrorist organization that abducted Tony Stark in Afghanistan. WandaVision shows us Vision and Scarlet Witch side by side in their own Disney Plus series. This should seem to be closely linked to the second Doctor Strange movie. We are also excited about Loki, another Disney Plus series that tells the story of the devious God. In Infinity War, this had his life, in Phase 4, his series is therefore in the 1970s play and thus be a prequel.
Doctor Strange's The Multiverse Of Madness shows us the Doctor (Benedict Cumberbatch) in a massive expansion of the MCU. It will be particularly exciting that the sequel allegedly as the first MCU film in Horrorgefilde penetrate. After the temporary exit of Spider-Man from the MCU, Tom Holland returns in a third part. But what it's all about is not yet known. What If …? introduces us to some alternative timelines that may interest many fans: what if Thanos had destroyed the Avengers? If Tony Stark had never betrayed his Iron Man identity? And Steve Rogers would still be under a thick ice surface today? These and many more questions are to be clarified in the Disney Plus project.
Jeremy Renner returns to Disney Plus in his old role as Hawkeye. In this final series of Phase 4, the superhero without superpowers passes on his knowledge to a potential successor. Although we have to do without a final Avengers movie in phase 4. But we get a good replacement with Thor: Love And Thunder. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson return to their familiar roles, while Natalie Portman is to be turned into Mighty Thor. One last project should bring us the next phase, however: The mysterious Blade Reboot. Oscar winner Mahershala Ali will in the future embody the swinging hero in the MCU. It would be conceivable either a movie or its own series.
