VOX launches new free-TV channel today

 Just in time for the 1st Advent, Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland has a very special pre-Christmas present for all spectators who just can not get enough of VOX: With VOXup starts on 01.12. a new linear transmitter that offers a colorful mix of well-known VOX brands, free-TV premieres and new in-house productions. Correct "up" is on 01.12. at 20:15 with the VOX cult series "Ally McBeal". The US hit has a huge fan base to this day, which includes some celebrities. So star chef Steffen Henssler comes out directly as an "Ally" fan: "I used to like to see 'Ally McBeal', because I thought it was really shitty and funny at the time!" VOXup presents the numerous Emmy and Golden Globe awards. Awards winning series, with Calista Flockhart as courageous-dreamy lawyer, from Season 1.
Even free-TV premieres and new productions are on the program from the beginning: From 04.12. at 8:15 pm VOXup will be broadcasting the eight-part documentary series "My Dream House by the Sea" in its first broadcast. The three-part documentary soap "A baby moves in" is on VOXup as a free-TV premiere from 07.12., Every Saturday at 20:15 clock to see. Another highlight is the free-TV premiere of the exciting, ten-part mystery drama series "The Truth about the Case Harry Quebert" with Patrick Dempsey in the lead role. The exceptional production by director Jean-Jacques Annaud ("Longing for Africa") can also be seen for premium subscribers at TVNOW. For 2020, RTL Studios will also be producing a documentary soap on the subject of camping for the new Cologne station. And as a special highlight there will be a comeback of the popular travel magazine "Voxtours" with a special at VOXup in the new year.
Whether "Shopping Queen", "The perfect dinner", "Sing my song", "The Cave of the Lions", "Grill the Henssler", high-quality US fiction series such as "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" or "Chicago Fire" – Anyone who loves the well-known VOX brands and really wants a lookup is in the right place with VOXup.
But also on earlier successful formats such as "Rizzoli & Isles" or "McLeods daughters", the audience can look forward to and from 02.12. A reunion for gourmets at 2:20 pm: VOXup launches with Tim Mälzer's very first cooking show "It does not taste, does not exist".
The distribution of VOXup takes place in the cable at Vodafone and UnityMedia, on the Astra satellite and Telekom / MagentaTV. At the start of the channel on 01.12.2019, this already corresponds to a technical range of around 90%, which will be further expanded.
