In these troubling and unpredictable times, Sky has set itself the goal of continuing to accompany its customers through difficult times as best it can. All citizens will be spending more time at home in the coming weeks and for this reason Sky Switzerland will expand the world of Sky entertainment with special offers to make life a little more entertaining and easier in the coming weeks and to provide variety. Specifically, Sky Switzerland offers a selected weekly changing collection of films for the whole family for CHF 2.00 to rent per film for everyone who registers. As of today, March 20th, the first selection with titles like Everest, Bad Moms or Mission: Impossible – Fallout is available. From Wednesday, March 25th, all films for rent on Sky Store will be reduced by 20% for one month. Sky is also expanding its portfolio of current series and films at its Sky Show streaming service to ensure outstanding all-round entertainment for the whole family.
Since no one is currently able to go to the cinema together, Sky will provide its customers with current blockbusters in the Sky Store for renting or buying. As of Friday, March 27, “Bloodshot”, a film that has only recently been released in cinemas, will be available for purchase in the Sky Store. "Trolls World Tour" will be available from April 23, 2020, parallel to the cinema release.
Sky Show subscribers also have access to the recently launched Sky Kids app. Sky Kids provides children with books with e-books and audio books in a playful way and also offers popular children's series such as Paw Patrol, Dora or Wickie on demand. The app can also be used independently of Sky Show and tested free of charge with a 14-day trial subscription.
After numerous sports leagues and sporting events in Switzerland and abroad were interrupted, canceled or postponed due to the corona virus, the streaming provider compensated its Sky Sport customers with free unlimited access to the series and film highlights of Sky Show until 30. April, with which Sky Sport customers can now benefit from an expanded and attractive range of programs.
With these measures, Sky would like to make its contribution so that this difficult time passes a little better.
