Shooting of Spider-Man 3 is slated to begin this summer as long as the corona virus won't stop production. We don't know much about the continuation with Peter Parker (Tom Holland). After the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home, however, it should be clear that the Marvel hero is in great trouble. According to a new rumor, he could get Daredevil support soon. A rumor has recently been circulating that Daredevil could appear in the upcoming blockbuster Spider-Man 3. The news comes from actor and director Kevin Smith, who made the rounds for the first time in a podcast episode of Fatman On Batman. Smith reports, "Did you hear that a lawyer was supposed to be in the new Spider-Man movie? Charlie Cox, he's supposed to be Matt Murdock."
In the Marvel series Daredevil on Netflix, Cox already played the role of the blind superhero. As a lawyer, he fights crime during the day while chasing criminals at night using more tangible methods. In the summer of 2016, the third season appeared, which was originally to be followed by another. In 2018, however, it was finally clear that they wanted to leave it with three seasons. If Kevin Smith's rumor actually turns out to be true, Marvel fans can look forward to a very special crossover.
The chances of that would not be that bad. After all, both superheroes in the US metropolis New York City regularly track down the crime. It could therefore easily be done that their paths cross. After Spider-Man's true identity as Peter Parker was revealed in the last film in the series, Daredevil, with his pronounced sense of the nose, should have little trouble finding the young Avenger. Nevertheless, so far it is only a rumor and should therefore be enjoyed with caution. In our video player you can now find the trailer for the upcoming Marvel blockbuster Black Widow.
