Hertha apparently found a replacement for Jürgen Klinsmann. Bruno Labbadia is to replace interim trainer Alexander Nouri – and that as soon as possible, several newspapers report.
Football Bundesliga club Hertha BSC is likely to force a short-term change in the coaching position. As the "Bild" newspaper reports, Bruno Labbadia should save the club from falling into the second division and take over the training in the next few days. The 54-year-old would succeed Alexander Nouri. Jürgen Klinsmann's former assistant had stepped in as interim coach after his resignation. It was already clear that Nouri would have to leave after the season ended. In the Bundesliga, which has been at least until the end of April due to the corona crisis, Hertha is currently in 13th place. However, the lead over the relegation place is only six points. Under Nouri, Berlin has only won one out of four games, while Labbadia has already worked for Bayer Leverkusen, Hamburger SV, VfB Stuttgart and most recently for VfL Wolfsburg, whom he led to the Europa League. His contract there was not renewed last summer. In Berlin he should get a contract until 2022.
